I am temporary foreign working calgary. I have motorcycle license from my home country and I have 10 years of driving experience. I have passed class 7 test and I dont want to wait for one year to apply for class 5. Can I apply for GDL exemption with my Indian motorcycle license ?

Thanks for your reply ainpfamily.i have read this document already but it just says "driving exp " it does not say motorcycle or car .anyways I am Going to apply for GDL exemption and try my luck.

No you cannot use your 10 years experience as it is for a motorcycle. Motorcycle license in Alberta is Class 6, you are applying for class 5 which means your experience should be with cars, light trucks, motorhomes or moped.
