For me it been 8 months now ..no NOi.

Hello. I applied through AINP and I have already received my COPR. My visa is expiring on 2nd June, 2020. But due to recent issue of COVID 19, I don't think I will be able to travel anytime soon. What is the procedure of visa extension? Nd how much time it will take for visa extension?

There is landing exemption for people that got their COPR before 16th March 2020. So I believe if you can land now you should do so.

And if you have to extend your visa, you have to fill a web form to your VO explaining to them. Some people's extension was rejected though.

Question 1 : do i need to attached the LMIA issued by the service Canada along with job offer from employer or only the job offer.
Question 2: If i attach the LMIA still they will call employer or LMIA is enough to make sure that i have legitimate job.
Question 3: In which case they call employer to get confirmation.
Question 4: I am outland and my family is current out of station due to COVID-19 we are unable to travel. So, can i sign the forms on behalf of my wife?

Hi,

I am under AINP-Alberta Opportunity Stream Program and right now I was done with a medical exam last October 2019 and waiting for passport request. However, my employer terminated my contract last April 13, 2020, due to a food safety issue. I worked with them for 1 year and 8 mos. My work permit will expire this August 2020. So I still have 4 mos prior to its expiration.

My question is, does it affect my PR application despite the fact I am almost done with my PR application? If yes, what are the consequences and what should I do to save my application and to go back to the application process from the start?
