alberta NOC yearly quota is 6500. if you add the total of all draws since jan 2022 till date it adds up to 2320. So from where the rest of quota filled out from in this year.

Are you including all those applications in the queue for AOS stream (not through EE) AND those who have been nominated this year? That is the quota but they don’t have to reach it.

My company is a consulting firm. I would suggest check the accepted NAICS codes for AINP Tech Acceralated pathway and get a custom letter made from your employer stating the business line that closely matches an accepted code. I did the same, hope it works out for you!
It seems when your job is LMIA-exempt, you cant claim points for the current job and job offer. when I calculated my score prior to applying for EE under CEC, my score was 568 but when I actually created a profile it dropped to 418... so no way, I will get an invitation with this score. even though, I have been working in Alberta since July 2021.... not sure if I will receive NOI from them too.
*Who does not need proof of funds
You don’t need to show that you have enough money to support yourself and your family if
-you’re applying under the Canadian Experience Class or
-you’re authorized to work in Canada and you have a valid job offer, even if you apply under the Federal Skilled Worker Program or the Federal Skilled Trades Program.*
What does this AND signifies in the second point? I have a job offer at the moment but I am not authorized to work in Canada. After receiving an ITA, do I need to show POF?
Thank you

Hi All,
I am planning on making a soft landing in Alberta coz I have got Alberta pnp. Would like to know if I can catch a flight via Vancouver or if my port of entry has to be Alberta? Any advice on the best travel route would be appreciated. I understand that a transit through the US would require a separate visa.
