Can someone with a degree in Law (No education in IT) but who works as a System Administrator (NOC 2281) apply for Alberta Tech-pathway? Does the education have to be related to I.T?
Just got nomination, here is my timeline.
Outlander, Job offer, NOC 2282
25 July - applied for Tech pathway got NOI same day
26 July - application submitted
29 July - assigned for assessment
Officer contacted me to provide bank statement during my previous role in Australia and tax documents for same year.
Also contacted Australian employer to confirm duties, hours worked and duration
1 Aug - information provided by me
2 Aug - employee provided information
4 Aug - nomination
I have 5 years of experience in my field in Aus NZ and had two year work permit( working holiday visa for Australian citizens) approved so it was bit easy to find a job as I could start asap.
not only NO DRAWS , there is also no movement in files like mine, who got NOI and waiting for nomination. it has been 3 months and 25 days. express entry stream.

That could probably be due to the political storm out there. Due to the absence of a real premier at the helm, the immigration minister seems disinterested in performing his duties
