That's not a right information buddy. The truth is GOV stopped LMO's only for food Industry peoples. Example cooks, waiters, housekeeping, chefs ect. so rest of the LMO'S still open.
Hi Guys,
I am skilled mechanical engineer (2 years) with hands experience in SAP - SD/MM (1 year). Whenever I apply for jobs employers simply say that "we require someone with unrestricted right to work in Canada". So my simple question is how you guys have managed to secure LMO and how can I get an LMO, shall I keep applying in a hope that someday, employer will sponsor me or shall I find recruitment agencies in Canada or get in contact with local Indian agents who ask for 12,000 - 15,000 CAD to secure an LMO from canadian employer.
Sharing is caring, if you help me today, I will help somebody in future.

"Our government will continue to pursue significant reforms to the Temporary Foreign Worker Program to ensure that employers make greater efforts to recruit and train Canadians and that it is only used as a last and limited resort when Canadians are not available" Jason Kenney's Statement
It's going to be tough that's what I meant. rather than spending 10-15k on LMO, one should apply for PR directly if eligible.

I think its 7 months from application received to DM/PPR, if nothing is missing or no extra docs required... I observed most of the guys got on that time frame.
