But my question is how long are our police certificates valid? Ours is around 4 months old. We received it in mid October.. But we waited until they requested it.. Any idea??

they received my application on Oct 28th, 2013

still waiting for IP.....
let me know if you have any update, people i know who applied in early September got Decision Made yesterday.
Just a question, Is it okay If I will now send my PCC in CIO-NS even If they have not requested it yet?
I already have a CIC file/application number and done my medical last Saturday. I've read a couple of posts here in the forum
that they've waited for the immigration officer to request for their PCC's. So, would it be okay to send it???
I would recommend that you wait for their request. I sent an email asking them and they replied after 20 days saying you should wait.
Thanks

Thank you mozeage for your prompt response. That's the best thing I should do I think.
Did they also requested you to submit your RCMP Certificate? On my application, I just put a note that the RCMP in Ottawa had
already forwarded my certificate directly to Case Processing Center in Sydney, NS because they did not send it to me directly.
