have u got ur decision made as mine received on oct 17 and am still waiting

As yet nope, maybe next week. What happens after DM? We're from Visa Exempt countries, so I don't think we'd need Passport Requests.

They will ask you to fax the scanned copy of your passport and after they receive your copy they will mail you the COPR

Did Cic requested canadian police clearance issued by RCMP along with the police clearance from your country of birth?

Nope.

When we sent application we sent 6 photos, police checks from our countries (Uk and Aus) and copies of both passports (Aus and UK) Nothing from RCMP, should we expect that?

I'm also from a visa-exempt country and got DM on April 18. They never asked for anything. I'm waiting for the COPR

So, do we need to send the passport to just get a visa for re-entry to Canada? I already have valid TRV on my passpirt for the next year...so can i just drive to the borders If i get my COPR?

Yea, you need to send your passport to CPP-Ottawa and they will void the TRV you have in your passport right now and they will issue you a new Immigrant visa which you will use for your landing

Awesome.. I think all the Oct. applicants will get PPR at the end of the month
