has anyone here applied for Ainp under Employer driven this year Jan. 2011 I am applying under low skilled category as a Front Desk Clerk. just have some question if its much faster for them to issue a certificate of nomination
1. If I come to work to Alberta on the basis of working holiday open work permit visa for 12 months and apply for AINP, do I have to extend my work permit with LMO before I receive nomination?
2. If I find employer in Alberta who is willing to give me a permanent job offer, does it need to be approved by HRSDC?
3. After I receive nomination, how can I extend my visa to stay in Canada before receiving PR status?

I believe you can apply for AINP as long as your work visa is valid and you are in status. You do not have to receive an LMO unless you have to extend your visa. I stand corrected.

Yes, unless you get a nomination.

You apply normally and include a copy of your nomination in your application.
Today my file got transferred to Seattle from Buffalo. I received an e-mail indicating this and mentioned not to request the status of your file within ninety (90) days of the date of this letter.
I did my medicles on Feb, 2011 and reached Ottawa on Feb 10, 2011
