Hey Sesk what country are you originally from?? I ask this bcoz ur country might process the background check faster than others

I received an email from my lawyer today. Saying My case has been approved and ask me to mail my passport to them~~~~

I just did my medical last month and my new born did his two weeks ago. I can't believe what happen here. When i saw the email it is too late to call my lawyer to confirm....... my time line is CIC application June 10, 2010. med request: Nov 1 2010. I delay my medical because new born. and i did my medical Feb 20, 2011. the new born did his march 02, 2011. my case status still show in process, nothing change.

i can't reach my lawyer until monday...... damn.. what a weekend it is,.,. do you guys think it is a mistake by lawyer?

I don't want to discourage you.

Iam sure with out medical results assessment of all the persons, cic will not ask for passport. With the current processing times i can't believe that cic will process your medicals in 2 weeks. Ask your lawyer to forward the email.

buffalo started processing my file july 12th 2010. medical done on aug 10, 2010. file transfered to detroit on jan 5th, 2010. waitin for further good words....

hey guys, got my passport back yesterday from detroit with an immigrant visa... yipee...

where someone has mentioned that his / her file was transferred to Detroit on Jan.5 and got PPR on Jan.21 This is very fast but I feel that the reason was beacuse his/ her processing was started in July.
