It seems like cic is currently taking about 3 months to process the applications (from IP to DM).

It's almost 4 for me... im glad I at least got my visitor visa for a year...

but i orderd gcmc note last july so its been 3 months now but my ecas still the same

To those who are not even on IP yet, would you mind sharing how many countries you have stayed for more than 6 months for the past 10 years? I always see some post on threads that it is a factor for a delay in processing.I have been to 3 countries and would like to know if this might be the case why I
m still not on IP.

never have been to any other country. everyone is IP after sending documents within a month. but its been more than two months and im still application received. this wait is frustrating and what hurts more is that we cant do anything.

Yeah I have a former colleague who submitted mid January and got his PPR last Monday.He never been out except here in Canada and have his wife as the only dependent that is why I would like to speculate that it might be the reason why he got it ahead while I am still on AR.

Congratulations!...so cic is doing it for 9-10 months processing time

i do beleive that we have to wait 11 months now for ppr. cuz i have seen ppl who were late in getting ip but once they were IP thy got dm nd ppr within a month. and some ppl are waiting for it fr about 2-3 months now. we cant predict cic.
