Hi ,
I need information help about before landing marriage rules. I have got PR visa as a single applicant. now if i get married before landing Canada what should i do. if i inform visa office before landing will it create any problem? and if i inform it after landing what would happen? what is the best time of getting married in this condition? before landing marriage or after getting PR card?
And how long will it take to bring spouse there? please help.
If you get married before landing, then you can no longer use your visa to land since it was issued when you were single. You will have to notify CIC that you have gotten married, return the visa that has been issued to you, and submit all of the required paperwork (including medical and police certificates) to add your spouse to your application. Once CIC has reviewed your spouse's information, they will issue new landing visas for both of you.
Thanks Scylla, in that case if i got PR card and then get married is the best option right? then, can i process immediately to bring my spouse there? how long it will take to complete the whole process (processing to spouse visa) ?

Yes - you can also land first and then get married and sponsor your spouse for PR. How long it will take will depend on what your spouse is from. Also note that since you are a PR, you must be living in Canada when you submit the application to sponsor your partner and must continue living in Canada while the application is processed.
