Hi guys, can someone guide what do I essentially have to do after landing? Like applying for PR or what? Driving license and all that? How do I apply for health card? Any formalities after airport?

The landing itself is what you do to become a PR. After landing, you are a PR. The first thing you should do afterwards is apply for a SIN number. You can do this at any Service Canada location and get a number on the spot. Some airports have a Service Canada kiosk in the landing area so you can get a SIN number literally right after you land. The next common thing to do is applying for a health card. Depending on which province you are going to, it can take awhile. Some places like Ontario you need specific proof of address and have to wait 3 month before you qualify for coverage (but you can apply sooner - you just have to wait 3 months for it to kick in). Driver's license I suppose if you need one. I don't drive so I never got one for Canada.
