I am currently working as IT Consultant in UK but I had manager expierience of 2 years back home, now what i would like to know is that if i can apply for immigration on a based of manager experience or does the current position/responsibilities needs to same as manager?
when you say continious 1 year work does it mean that it has to be necessary 1 year on that position? Basically I have joined the company as Jnr/Asst IT manager and after 14 months of service I got prmoted to IT manager and I worked on that position for 8-9 months. Now the thing what is confusing me is that the EXP letter which was given to me by that company only shows that I have worked as IT manager, nothing is mentioned about the initial Job role.
plus would like to know what docs are required by embassy to proof of work (do they verify the documents, if they do what needs to be done if that company ceased their business? and not operating anymore)

Xbase...yes you qualify because as per the new ministreal instructions the experience under any of listed 38 occupations have occurred during last 10 years. Send your application to CIO Nova Scotia and make sure you list all the duties on application corresponding to your choosen occupation out of 38....this is where they put more stress.
