One of my friend got laid of in june but he completed 1 year 15 days prior to it. He asked me if he can apply for PR under CEC. He work as Engineer. He is now claiming EI. Reason he wants to apply now under CEC is becoz his PNP application got rejected after Medicals as he was no longer working with company. I told him he is eligible to apply. Please correct me if I am wrong. Applicant doesnot need to be working when applying under CEC
