I am a Canadian Citizen, my friends mom applied for the Visitor visa for him, she lives in the United States, and he lives in South Africa.
He has been in both the u.s. and Canada before, and the Application was submitted February. 18/2018
For a LONGGG time now already his application says
- we are processing your application
- we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements
- no biometrics needed
- no interview needed
- and it is not under security or background checks
We have been waiting 12 weeks now, so 3 months and there has been no change in his application.
Anybody have any advice for us? If this is looking like it could be good or bad news? We are so worried for bad news and it's getting very hard and disheartening to wait this long. It's hard to not give up hope.
If he had traveled to Canada in the last 10 years and/or has a valid US visa, he should have requested for CAN+ (expedited processing). Unfortunately, it's too late for it now.
