U meet the req.. ur profile is not weak However for Thesis prog did u secured supervisor? If it was req then it might be the reason for rejection.

They clearly stated not to contact the supervisors on their website, but i have mentioned in my statement of research who I would like to work with and my research interests.

They generally accept, students with higher Percentage, around 85-90 in ideal case,

What is the reason, they gave for your rejection

This what they wrote basically, nothing specific about reasons of rejection.

This year we saw an increase in the number of applications we received. The department received 459 requests for admissions from students all over the world. Unfortunately, we only have a limited number of seats to offer to students

1) Is there any age limitation for admission?
2) My Engineering percentage is 73.
3) yet to appear for IELTS.

Meng is thesis based in MUN, so no one can say anything about your chances. Depends on your potential supervisor, his projects and your research profile.
Otherwise your GPA is ok for MUN. I also have the same percentage and I got into a course based program there.
I don't think there's an age limit. Try keeping your overall IELTS score above 7 with each band over 6.5

Congrats, is it compulsory that you have to mail your transcripts even before getting admission. Im going to apply within few days and kinda wondering if it’s really compulsory. Some universities you can just send them scanned copies, and later when you get accepted you send the original copies through courier.

I also emailed my scanned docs to them and got conditional admit before my notarized copies reached there by post. Once they got the hard copies, they gave me a full admit. So your profile is considered with scanned docs as well. So do that first to begin the process soon and then send hard copies ASAP to prevent any further delay.

M.Sc Computer Science. Its written on the department’s website for international students they strongly recommend to submit GRE, thats also kinda confusing cause I don’t really wanna take the exam and all
