Hello again everyone.
When completing the landing formalities we need to provide a Canadian address to which CIC can send our PR cards. Normally people provide a friend's address or that of a relative living there. Now my query is: if a person has neither a friend or nor a relative there, can he use a PO box address? Can a box be opened with the Canada post and can the postal service redirect our stuff to the address we provide.
Kindly advise. All ideas welcome.

Nope, has to be a residential address for the PR card.

Hi
I didnt have any residential address while landing..only the hotel address..So I could not submit PR application for..IO gave me a PR address notification form with a fax number in it. I faxed it when I got address...so address should not be a problem..
Thanks
Sam
Sam2canada, Good to know one can do that if there is no Canadian address at the time of landing. Thanks.
Call 1-888-242-2100 to change the address. You can also do this online. You need not give an address while landing if you don't know.
