I recently changed homes and I am sponsoring my husband who is in Cyprus at the moment.
I just wanted to know, what's the best and fastest way to contact the Damascus office and let them know of my
address change? Should I send in a fax? or call them directly? Or email?
Also, since he is the applicant and I'm the sponsor, does it mean that most emails and letters will be directed to him now?
Just a general question because I don't want to miss anything in the mail.
If anyone has any suggestions I would really appreciate it.
I recently tried to change my address with the london office. I called the canadian side first to check and they informed me the canadian AND the uk side had to be notified of any address changes, and then told me to send a letter as the best way to contact the office, but did the canadian bit over the phone. London never got my letter, so i emailed them using the online help form on the website, and they (in theory) will change it for me following a response to my question via email.
So call any canadian side, write to all else. If your address doesnt update then use the online question bit and get them to do it, you'll get some kind of conformation that way too.
When my husband changed his address I email Delhi and they said to fax the change off to them. We were told to make sure you have your birthdate file number and my husband was also told to sign the letter or they wouldnt be able to change it.
