So I am the principal applicant and on this form it says to list children. Do I list my husband's (my sponsor) child from a previous relationship when the mother of the child has full custody? Does that child count as my stepchild in which I would have to list them?

Any help appreciated!

Yes, his children are your stepchildren - regardless of who they're living with. He also needs to list them on his Sponsorship Evaluation form and in a couple of other parts of his application forms. I can't remember exactly where because it's been awhile, but he discloses them, so you need to, too.
