Hi...I applied for PR under 4131, full documents sent on September 1, 2010. My daughter was born on Jan 12, 2011. Now I would like to add her to the application. I have not informed about this to the CHC as my consultant says just submit the birth certificate, passport copy and fee of $150 and relevant forms. Should I first inform CHC and then send the documents or should I just send the required documents ? and my consultant says the fee of $ 150 has to be in favor of Canadian High Commission payable at New Delhi, whereas I have come to know that it should be drawn in favor of "Receiver General for Canada" payable in Canada. Someone please clarify.
Hi,
Once you receive a Positive Eligibility Review (PER) from CIO, your file is sent to the visa office. You would receive a 2nd AOR (Acknowledgement of Receipt) from your visa office as soon as they start processing your file. Once you receive your 2nd AOR or e-cas (client application status in www.cic.gc.ca) shows "Received by Visa Office", which ever is earlier, please send them the following documents if you need to add your new born....
1. Notarized copy of baby's birth certificate
2. Notarized baby's passport copy
3. Photographs as per requirement
4. IMM0008 (2nd page to be filled again) - Family members details
5. IMM5406 - Additional Family Information
6. Application processing fees (150 CAD) - preferably in the name of "Receiver General for Canada" payable at Canada....
7. Cover letter mentioning the addition of a family member
Good Luck !!!!!!!!!!
Regards,
Shareen

This is an important change in your family composition. You were suppose to inform them at least by end of January and now we are in April, what were you waiting my friend. You were suppose to inform them and they will tell you exactly how to do it.
Please inform them right away. Do not waste even a day. It is almost getting late.
Hope it helps.

I really do not like dealing with consultants. How can your consultant tell you, just to send the documents. He knows nothing about the process i guess. You are suppose to inform them and they will then direct you on what to do, if you want to add your child to the application.
You have waited and he is not even concerned about the addition of the child. You can send it through case specific enquiry. If i were you, i will do it as soon as possible.
Dont forget the updated proof of funds.
