Hello, I think the timing depends on how quickly the people process your application. In my case we just got the PPR letter and my spouse submitted biometrics one month ago.

Hello pls help

I got married in june 2019 and then i came back to canada and i submitted my express entry file with my spouse but because his education and ielts are not added my score is just 407 points and the last draw was 475 , i m planning to put my file just for me first and remove him from the express entry so my points will increase and i will apply for his work permit (SOWP) , can i do that???

Remove him from the express entry for now and apply for wp as to be safe because with 407 we both are stuck now??

pls update asap and i just have 11 months left for my wp to get expired now

AOR: 13/Aug/2019 (CEC category, as single applicant)

Medicals Passed 05/Sep/2019

Marriage date: 28/Aug/2019

Webform: 06/Sep/2019, informed CIC about marriage and attached Marriage Certificate requesting to add spouse to my PR application.
(Received email from cic on 13/Sep/2019 stating that the request has been forwarded to concern department)

BOWP Applied: 06/Sep/2019 (PGWP Expiry date: 11/Sep/2019)

Questions:

1. Could you please advise me what procedures that needs to be followed and what documents would be required?? Can i do upfront medicals and Police clearance for spouse and submit another webform along with fee receipt of $1040Cad?

2. Do i need to make payment of $1040 cad now or wait until for the request from CIC??

3. Till now no additional documents were asked from CIC for addition of spouse.

Sent an application status request using the webform today.

IRCC replied to my webform query regarding the status of my application. They asked me to refer to an email communication sent on 23 Sept. However, I never received any email from IRCC on 23 Sept (checked junk/spam folders as well). I have now requested them to resend the email. Point to note is that meds were cleared on 11 Sept and IRCC claims to have sent an email on 23 Sept. Hoping to receive the said email before the end of the week.

Here is my timelines-
Aug 20 - AOR
Sep 1 - Married
Oct 10 - RCMP
Oct 20 - Added spouse
Oct 25 - got acknowledgement of forms

No further updates till now. My spouse is not added in the online application and no request on additional documents.

I filled IMM008 in my name
IMM5669 and IMM5406 in my name and spouse name. Is that correct?
