One of my friend told me people are not getting ppr because of canada post strike.
They are just waiting for canada post to start working properly.
Is it possible ?
It doesn't make any sense to me. The strike has nothing to do with IRCC. If this actually is the case then it sucks big time.
Hey Guys,
Landed yesterday with my spouse at Niagara VO.

Hey guys
I applied for my spouse’s GCMS notes on October 1 and mine again on October 23rd. We received separate emails today requesting a signed copy of our passports. Anyone else had the same experience? Why do they need our passport copies?
Hi,
I sent a webform, informing that I got married. An agent replied to me:
To do so, we invite you to send your add-on request through the
IRCC webform available on our website. You can attach the following forms and documents in the field reserved to that effect:
- A new Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008) with supporting documents,
- (If applicable) A Schedule A - Background/Declaration (IMM 5669) form,
- (If applicable) An Additional Dependants/Declaration (IMM 0008DEP) form,
- (If applicable) A signed Additional Family Information (IMM 5406) form,
- A copy of the birth certificate, marriage certificate or proof of common-law relationship,
- A copy of the family member's valid passport,
- Police certificates for all countries where the family member over the age of 18 has lived for more than 6 months since turning 18,
- A letter of explanation, and
- If applicable, the proof of payment.
I have two questions:
1- What should I write for letter of explanation.
2- Should I print these forms and sign it by hand, then scan? or I can just upload them.
Thank you.

1) Explain what you are including and what you are not, and why?
2) I would suggest Yes (Print Sign and Scan). Same process for your spouse document set.
