Activity Status update: Background verification

Well, I am also in the same situation and my background check started on 8th March and since then no update. I am not sure what is the criteria for this. I travelled many countries and initially I thought it could be due to that. However, in watsapp group I could see there are applicant who did not travel and studied in Canada and doing job and their application also gone to security check.
ryanira2 and Medmar are correct. There is no timeline defined for security check and I know people in my watsapp group waiting from past 1 year and I believe this is not fair.

I applied in Dec 1, 2023. Surprisingly, my info sharing and security check is done, only criminality is pending. Isn't the sequence supposed to be the other way around?

No Update for me so far. My C-check started on 11th March 2024 and since then no update. It is now 17th months going for me since AR date.

I got my P2 on December 11,2024 and submitted my declaration on December 12,2024. I have COPR number on my tracker since that day but I didn’t receive my eCOPR yet. I called them twice they just say wait but it’s been more than 2 months and I am on BOWP already.

Hello,

I am October applicant through PNP. In my case everything went well and after PAL I received ADR to submit my detailed resume. Next day I have submitted detailed resume for me and souse as stated in ADR and next day I got an update in my tracker with the below message. This status change happened on March 8th and after that no change in my application. Does this means that my application has gone for comprehensive security check. I called to IRCC and they confirmed my Biometric, Medical, Eligibility, Info Sharing, Criminality is passed and security is in progress.

On Closed work permit, I was a international hire under skilled worker in demand occupation.

Any insights on such situation please.

I got below message right next day I submitted ADR. This message I got in Activity status panel.
