I remember , one PR applicant who recently moved to UAE after getting job here , was able to submit his passport at ADVO , even though his PPR was initiated by NDVO. For your case regarding work permit , i suggest you can call VFS dubai office for better advise. Most of us are PR applicants.

I see you are in Qatar. I just got my PPR yesterday and I wanted to know how you have sent your passports, through VFS or other courier service. How long did it take to get your passports back ?

We applied thru vfs submitted passport march 4 no updates yet recently it shows 3-5 weeks from abu dhabi vo

thanks for the help.. yesterday i called VFS Dubai in the morning and By evening they told me that I can submit my passport for further process. Also, I had submitted CSI for Abu Dhabi VO. Did u know, how much time they usually take to answer back??

I sent the passport on the 5th of march and still no news, is it normal for my profile on CIC to still appear as (your action is required)??, I mean it seems that my CIC profile does not know that I have submitted my passport through VFS Dubai. Anything to worry about?

Thank you, I have submitted my passports yesterday through VFS. Pretty hefty price ($135 per passport) but I guess no other choice.

Thank you. The lady in VFS told me it will take one month to get the passports back. I have submitted yesterday.

Yeah it was pretty expensive but I trust them to handle my passport. For peace of mind its really a small price to pay.
