Guys, I have a quick question regarding the PPR from ADVO. I see some Saudi based residents have said they've submitted the requested documents (copy of the letter, passport, two passport photos) to VFS in Saudi and have NOT sent them directly to Abu Dhabi via courier (Aramex).
The Saudi VFS is not listed in their email as one person has shared earlier so I am a bit confused as to what works or what doesn't. They've listed other VFS centers in UAE, Kuwait, Oman, etc. Obviously I would prefer VFS in Saudi as it would be more convenient (and quicker by the looks of it?).
However, what have Saudi/KSA applicants been doing? Could you please recommend or advise? Thanks in advance!

For those who might have the same question, or would like to know. Yes, if you reside in Saudi Arabia, you may submit your passports and other docs to CVAC. Unfortunately that is the only confirmation I have received. No timeline was provided as to how long this process takes, versus sending them via courier to ADVO.
Hi I submitted my passport on 21st December Via Aramex courier service. I havent recieved my passports yet. Anyone in the forum who has submitted the PP for PR Stamping during that time.

Got PPR. Could anybody could tell me how much it costs to send via VFS?
I spoke with Aramex and they knew what I was asking about as if they'd done it before. So they told me it's ~140 + return for regular courier, and ~170 + return for insured courier. The return mail charge is 40.
I missed the link to VFS' service charges. I'll go with VFS because they have only one rate for sending passport and it's described as "Secure transmission of passport to the Consulate of Canada upon request by visa office (for e-application)". It's more economical and delivering passports is their main job versus my passport being in Aramex' courier bag.

I do not know when you got your PPR, but I will recommend if the Travel is not very important, then please leave it.
There are forums available whereby you can submit an application for faster response for your application, but i recommend it for extreme circumstances.
Since you applied on 2nd and it has only been 12 days out of which only 7 have been working, I recommend you to wait out for atleast a further 10 working days before sending them an email.
I have been waiting for 28 days today. Out of which today is the 14th working day.
