Everyone to those who pic up there paaport before to vfs i have a question vfs send me an email that i can only pick up my pasport around 4pm to 5pm is there anyone get it earlier? I mean is it posible for me to pick up my paaport.early in the morning like 9 am as i dont have time in the afternoon.im trying to call the vfs dubai but im in hold for like.30 min already i hope someone can answer this. Pls.advice

My PPR from London clearly said that i should only contact London if 4 weeks has passed.

its not 10 working days, i dont remember seeing that anywhere. even at VFS office they said it could take upto 1 month... i know their agents claim 7-10 working days, but i can assure you it takes a lot longer in most cases.

i used the IRCC web form, you get an auto reply saying your query will be responded to in 28 working days - thats if your query is relevant to their department.

so basically its useless

i think you can collect passport even at a different time - i have not collected from canada VFS but from saudi vfs a few times on odd hours.

nah, its in the email that I received. VFS will always advise 1 month to prevent follow ups from their side.
VFS doesn't have any control though

PROCESSING TIMES: Your application will be finalized within 10 working days from the date your passport(s) and all the required documents are received. Please allow an additional 1-3 days for the return of your passport(s) by courier, if applicable.
