Heads up to anyone submitting passport in Ad.
The embassy had stopped taking passports for pr via at their office starting Feb 14 . You can only send the passport through vfs now.

Drove from dubai to find out about this although my ppr from London stated that I can submit it in advo.

You can send pp through VFS. The process is quite easy actually. They have informed that the PP can be received within 15-20 working days.

Not sure why they're taking so long. Are they even doing any process at all?? Finally i Emailed them last week after waiting for so long, lets hope i recieve my PP before their reply. Lol.

I can smell your PPR in few days, because the most important BC is for the applicant, the rest is piece of cake.
I hope you will get it within this week.

If you are curious to read about your file progress then order GCMS,
but i think PPR will come before GCMS hopefully.

Aw. I was planning on doing just that when I get my PPR to speed up the stamping.

I m a PNP candidate with October AOR.

As you can see our timeline, most of the process got completed in november 2015.

We ordered GCMS notes and came to know that our file moved from canada to ADVO on 19th November 2015.

But till now no movement, no info, no update.

Is there any possibility for us to do something?

Is there any seperate whatsapp grup for ADVO ppl??

ADVO can be quite slow at times for issuance of PPRs. Quite a number of August AORs are still waiting for news from ADVO.

I think by middle of March, you might hopefully receive some good news from CIC. Be patient.

Yesterday received a mail informing my CIC account has been updated. When I checked, I found out that my application has been approved and closed. .

I guess I have to wait now for news from VFS informing me to come and collect my passport.
