You are welcome anytime and if you have any questions dont hesitate.. and I see your BG check changed to In Progress....that is a very positive thing and means you might get PPR anytime now, could be a few days or a few months .... though with a few others I had noticed in Abu Dhabi VO the BG check changes to in progress on the same day they get PPR...

All you and all of us can do is wait....the way CIC deals with things is pretty vague except for general points, but you can never expect timing... and it is good you ordered notes though you might get PPR before you receive them, but if you dont , they would have been generated after your BG went to in progress, you can then see what is going on.

I checked mycic status this morning and noticed that my application showed "updated" but nothing seems to have changed. I guess my application is being worked on ;D. Hoping for the best.

Got PPR Guys....about to send the passports to ADVO. Does anyone know how long will it take to get them back ? It took 6 months and 3 days for the entire journey.

can you tell me when was ur background check in progress and how long after that you got your PRR?

i think abu dhabi vo takes about 5 to 7 days to stamp the visa.

Congrats again.
A couple of people that received their passports back from ADVO said it takes between 2 and 3 weeks for the return.
Also, in this thread, we're of the opinion that sending the passports through Aramex is more cost effective than VFS.

My BGC started on 2nd March, and PPR email on 17th March. My cic account status still shows BG in progress. I assume its will be updated soon.
