Hello friends. I just submitted my application at VFS Dubai. Does anyone know how long it takes for the visa to stamp?

You mean you submitted your passport, right?
For me I submitted my passport from Kuwait and got it back in 5 weeks. I used Aramex
 
Yes I submitted my passport and I am already in Dubai. 5 weeks is so long for just a visa stamp, I wonder why that takes so long?
Hopefully it comes faster because I have a flight booked to Montreal on the 20th. They made a note on our application so hopefully they process it faster.

hey guys, My visa office in my CSQ is Abu Dhabi VO because i have applied from there, however now i am not living in UAE, does that make any difference on my application process ? ( i am sending the application package tomorrow inshallah)

ok for those who are assigned to Abui Dhabi VO and living abroad, how do you obtain the power of attorney ???

If you live outside of the United Arab Emirates: (but have lived in the UAE for more than 6 months)
You may either apply:
  1. In person if you are back in the UAE or ask a representative (a friend, relative or colleague) in the UAE, with a power of attorney, to apply on your behalf at the police department in your emirate (see Special notes and considerations for complete list)
  2. You can apply at the nearest UAE Embassy
  3. By express mail
You or your representative must bring/send:
  • A set of fingerprints certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the UAE Embassy in the country where you currently live
  • A copy of your valid passport
  • A copy of your former Emirates ID card
  • A copy of your former residence visa
  • Two (4x6 cm) photographs
  • Applicable fees
