Hi everyone,

No news from ADVO and today I will start the one-month countdown to the expiry date of my CSQ.
I just read online that IRCC has to request MIDI to renew the CSQ but only when it expires during the processing of the APR

I requested the GCMS notes via my consultant since feb 28 and no news up to now. I contact them and they say, we will send a status request...
things seem hazy.. and I don't like that.

Anyone any news?

I requested GCMS notes several times and it hasn't taken more than 35 days. However, I never used the consultant. There are plenty of websites that provide them and for as low as $12.

Are you Quebec skilled worker applicant? I recall you asking about background checks and security screening. As being under the unfortunate security screening myself, I wonder how long it took them to finish yours. I think mine started in September 2017. I applied in December 2015 and nothing yet.
Could you please mention your timeline and the date you got your medical request?

Documents Received By Au Dhabi: Oct 2015
AOR:Jan 2016
Background check started:May 2017
Medical requested: March 2018
PPR Received :May 2018

Hi, hasyeh,

I have read somewhere in the forum that it takes some time for the background check. The Pre-arrival services letter means eligibility is passed meaning that the relationship genuine.

I got to know that we are pretty much invited to use the free service of the IRCC as the "The agencies that delivers the pre-arrival services are also reporting to IRCC if the immigrant has accessed or enrolled to the pre-arrival program"

dear all , I am under QSW , VO Abudhabi, my case is facing delays and I am very frustrated with the process.
after 30 months they still have not started my background and security check. they have asked for update of documents two times.
second time may 13 2018. I tried sending emails and CS forms but no clear response. I would truly appreciate your help and comments.
Time-line:
Documents received by Sydney, NS: 15 October 2015
Acknowledging receipt: January 14, 2016
Document request letter: March 2 2017
Updated documents uploaded in CIC account: April 2017
Medical completed: April 2017
request for update of documents (2nd time) : May 2018 ( RPR fees were asked last year which was paid that time but again mentioned in the recent request letter!)
