I would like to join Post -degree diploma in Business Management.(2 year course) in Northern Lights College, May I know how is this college and the part time job availability in this area?
My profile: B.Tech (ECE), I do have some backlogs (cleared all) and that is why I'm choosing this college, which may increase the my visa chances I think.
I am having 3 years of experience in IT sector in Capgemini as Production Support specialist . Now i want to pursue Buisness Management from Northern Lights College . Anyone out there already do share their views regarding the job opportunities there and part time job chances. So that i can earn my living there.
Well, since Northern Lights College has multiple campuses, you would have to tell us which campus you are going to attend. Since Northern B.C. is having an economic boom in resource extraction, there might be a lot of jobs that pay decently; and since Northern B.C. is having an economic boom in resource extraction, rent might be extremely expensive; and since Northern B.C. is Northern B.C., there might be no jobs at all that you could take part-time while studying.
Why do you want to go study Business Management in such a remote, cold, small, lonely, depressing dump?
Peace Region- Fort St. John and Dawson Creek is experiencing an economic boom, there are plenty of jobs. Students find part time or full time jobs within a week once they arrive here. Apart from the weather which is cold (but most of the Canada is cold and even Toronto freezes in winters) the people are warm and welcoming. There is a Sikh temple (Gurudwara) and many Indian families which are so helpful to the Indian students. Get in touch with any Indian student who has just graduated, doesn't wants to leave Fort St. John as the PNP approval comes as fast as 3 months and Federal Immigration in 6 months. What more you need? I see it as one of the region with the fastest immigration process for international students.
Hi Gagan, the rejection can be for many different reasons, not coz' of the choice of program only. World over students after completing their B.E study Business Management. You may refile with a revised offer letter as Northern Lights College has announced a specialization in Information Technology; it's a Post Graduate program. Possibly, you'll save on the application fees as well. And, let me tell you, the visa approval rate is much higher than any parts British Columbia or even Canada, since the government wants people to come to this region and fill the job positions which are available in plenty. Hope this will help you all.
