Hello Guys,

I am writing to ask about study permits. Please give me a hand...

I am a Chinese student. I have obtained a study permit and a Temporary Resident Visa, from May 2013 to Aug 2016, to study at McGill U for my PhD. My supervisor at McGill will be retired in 2015, so I re-applied PhD programs and got admission from another university (Queen's U) and I wanted to change my university because they have got a even better supervisor for me. I just withdrew from McGill and left Canada in July 2014. Will I be OK to re-enter Canada when I come back in Sep 2014 to enter the new university?

I have tried to contact CIC but it seems everyone there has been ignoring me for at least 15 days...Endless phone-call waiting too.

Your study permit (not TRV) will become invalid 90 days after you left your program (new rules).

Thanks, but what if I get a new admission before the 90 days' limit?
