hi guys,
Do you know if there is a study permit required if the study length is 4 months from May till August?
That's the program.
The website says if the study is less than 6 months then there is no need for a study permit but then what just a visitor visa?
Any suggestions?

Right but because of Covid you need a study permit. You will need to show that this program is absolutely essential to your career advancement in your home country.

Read though the information provided above. Due to covid-19 there are special rules in place. Study permit is needed assuming your friend is outside of Canada.
