Plz help! I am confused by all different type of work permit. Hope someone here can help me.
come from NZ, I got working holiday visa through IEC, and currently working as a contractor in Canada. I really enjoys what I see here, and wish to stay longer. My manager asked me if I am interested to stay as a perm staff once my contract finished. Does it mean i need to get LMO for the position she offers? and apply a work permit which specified to this company? given the current strike in Immigration office, how long will it takes? can i accept the offer and start work while work permit/ LMO application is processing since my working holiday visa is valid until early 2014? Is my future employer responsible to apply for LMO? I just don't want to miss this opportunity.
