As I mentioned in my last post that my spouse is on a tourist visa here in Montreal and we just applied for residency.
I am going to send the visitor visa extension application package next week but I would like to know if I have to send a copy of
our marriage certificate? or is it not necessary since they have her tourist visa application on file?
The people who process her temporary status extension will most likely not have access to her permanent status paperwork . . . it's VERY important that you not only include a copy of your marriage licence but that you also include proof that you have submitted an application to sponsor her AND proof of your financial support for her while she remains in Canada. If you submitted an inland application to sponsor her, it's imperative that you try to notify them that there is an inland application in process . . . the extension application, in that case, should have gone WITH the inland PR ap. If you applied to sponsor her via the outland process, then just include proof of receipt of the ap at CPC-Mississauga and it should be fine.

I would like to know if I could send a copy of our marriage certificate which was translated in Ecuador by a translator who is recognized by the Canadian embassy in Quito? It is the same translated marriage document which I sent for the residency process.
I am curious to know if it really is necessary to send a copy of our marriage certificate since I am already sending a copy of my sponsorship approval? If I am approved as a sponsor then doesn't that mean that I am married to her already?

I would like to know what my manager has to add in the work letter for the visitor visa extension application package? I spoke to him today and he asked me about the details. I really need to know what info he has to add on the letter.
