Dear All,

Please help Rajani he is bit confused..........

Regards,

Hi all,

I have applied in December 2014 and got visa at the end of August 2015. I have done medicals in the beginning of July therefore, our visa expiry is of July 2015.

I planned to perform landing in May 2016. But couple of my acquaintance suggested not to delay landing as it will be a problem on arrival. I am still unable to understand that if there is expiry on visa and if we do landing anytime before expiry, then there wouldn't be a problem.

Please suggest if some came across to perform landing after 10 months to visa issuance but before expiry?

I assume you are saying this -

1) You applied in December 2014 and got visa in August 2015.
2) You did medicals in July 2015 so it is valid till July 2016.
3) The expiry on your visa is August 2016.
4) You are planning to land in May 2016.

Is this what you are saying?

If this is what you are saying, then yes, you can very well land in May. What s the trouble? May comes before July and August, so, why are you worried about late landing?

You are free to land in May 2016, you won't have any issues. Cheers.

Regards,

This is not the typical kind of rejection.

After you get your visa and COPR, you must land before a specified date (before your medicals expire or before your current passport expires, WHICHEVER COMES FIRST). If you land after the expiry of meds or after your current passport expires, you can be denied entry into Canada and sent back. Landing on time is your responsibility, not that of the immigration officer. Unless you have a exceptional circumstance that you can substantiate, a late landing will not work.

Dear Rajkamalji & Others,

So ultimately this is fack kind of news so there is no possiblity of rejection after Visa office issue COPR and Passport with Stamp. Till date of expiry no worry about rejection once we got visa and COPR. We need to land before expiry date of visa or medical right.

Thanks for reply as so many rumours are now in the market as people are waiting and waiting ........

Please guide........

Regards,

Actually, an applicant in a previous FSW program has his copr and visa revoked after they were issued to him and before he intended to travel. His visa and passport were valid but it was discovered he had lied in his application. This is why it is advised to be honest with your application as if misrepresentation is discovered at any stage, you lose out on the opportunity. Cheers.

Please request for your GCMS note if no recent update in the last
3 months about your application from your VO.
Expect the best in 2016.
Good luck.

I have applied through Express Entry to CIC and i got PT/INterest letter from OINP under Human Capital.
I am about to submit the documents as per process to OINP.
I have two questions regarding with,
PROOF OF FUNDS,
I am from India and showing CAD 17638/- with single dependant. I have a Bank certification letter(Got 1week back) and Fixed Deposit Statement received while starting the FD.
In the IMMI Form, there is an option to select Current Bank Certification letter and Fixed Deposit Statement.

Should i select both Current bank Certification Letter as well, as i am submitting Bank certification letter stating FD balance?

Supporting Documents,
Should i write Name, DOB and Express Entry Number on each and every proofs/documents ?

I was in the exact same situation and I chose both. So, I guess you can choose both.

No, not necessary. But be sure to write N/A in fields that are not applicable to you.

@rajkamalmohanram: Did you get a positive response from the OINP, as I thought Current Bank letter means Current account Bank balance letter. I am not sure on it! I am worried that, if i chose that option and then they ask for current bank balance letter, there would be a latency in the process.

Did you get it clarify while sending the documents ?

Sorry for asking additional questions, as i have become extra cautious after looking at rejection reasons of few applicants.

Any others opted the same ?

1) No, I have not received an AOR yet. Expecting one before Jan 20.
2) Well, I checked a few links now; The one below says the wording "Current Bank Certification Letter" means a "Certification letter from the bank" - http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/bank-statement-or-current-bank-certification-letter-t50019.0.html
3) Moreover, I don't believe its called "current account" in Canada.

Hi Raj:

I have read through the application guide again now and I started feeling it like a Christopher Nolan movie:

This is again W.R.T PROOF OF FUNDS, Application Guide suggests Originals- (No where mentioned as copy/certified true copy):
1. Fixed Deposit Statement - What I received from Bank is Fixed Deposit Advice Slip/Receipt and its given only once. Can I send certified True Copy of this document ? As I will need the original for CIC processing.
2. Fixed Deposit Certification letter I have right now is a Scanned copy (Got this FD at Home Town and got a scanned copy from bank) - If its notarised will this be enough, as I might take 3-5 days to get the original copy and I have 15 out of 45 days to go?

In-short if both are notarised, Will this be accepted by OINP?

And documents which are not asked in certified true copies format, for example, IELTS report, Job Appointment letters, etc., Should they be notarised as well?
