A challenging question: work permit holder applying for study permit

I have an open work permit that expires in the October of 2027, but now I want to apply for a study permit for a graduate program that begins in September of 2025.

This IRCC Q&A states that people can have work permit and study permit at the same time. But the work rights attached to the two permits are completely different.

Note: this has nothing to do with defrauding, because my work permit is still valid for more than 2.5 years and I have been wanting to study in this program since 2020.

My question is: after getting my study permit and before my studies begin in September, how many hours can I work? Up to 20 hours or full time?

This is a really challenging question. Can anyone answer it?

I called IRCC multiple times and could never get to waiting in the line, not to mention an agent. It seems they didn't assign agents for inquiries regarding study permit and work permit
