I am a work permit holder (originally from India) and will be marrying a Study Permit holder, based in India. My question is, what will be the status of my to be spouse? Will she loose her Study permit and therefore not able to attend the course? Or will that not have an impact?
Thank you for your help and advice in advance!
Marriage has no impact on anything as long you have valid documentation such as study permitnand work permit and you meet the requriment of thise permit you should be fine
Thank you for you response.
Will the student visa be affected if the marriage happens during the visa application process?
Following is the scenario which we are in.
I am in Canada on a work visa. My partner will be applying to schools for the fall 2017 intake. We plan to get married around the month on July 2017. Ideally the student visa process should start in May-June. Would the marriage affect my partners visa? Does it help if we get married before her student visa process starts?
Thank you.
