LANDED..........
March 29th, 2011
Im starting to panic. I havent called but i was wondering what number should i call? I applied Inland btw. Is there anyone who has recieved their PR card over the 8 week mark??
What copuld cause these delays? I really need to travel urgently and i dont know if i will travel in time I also need to apply for a U>s. visa and so i dont have much time. I had estimated that by now id have my card.

Does anyone knopw which office issues the card?. WHo should i call?. My ecas states nothing about the card just thye date i landed. i need to call tomorrow in tyhe am to find out whats happening but also need to know where to call
Any advise/suggestions will be highly appreciated!
Thanks!>...

CIC website states that for new PRs the initial PR card will take up to 33 business days to make. If you've waited over 8 weeks, that would mean over 40 business days.

"Note: If you live inside Canada and if it has been longer than the time shown above since you applied, please contact the Call Centre."

I think it is the Sydney office in Nova Scotia that actually produce the permanent resident cards. Not sure what the number is or if you should just start with the call centre first.
Good luck.

got it in the mail today!
