8 months GAP after Graduation...........

hey guys,,
i'm applying for a canadian study permit,, for IT Solutions (post graduate) in Humber College...

My profile:-
10th (2007): 87.6%
12th (2009): 88%
B.Tech. (CSE) (August, 2013): 6.54 CGPA (59.22%)
IELTS (Sept '13) : Overall 8.0
R-9.0,,L-8.5,,W-6.5,,S-7.0

I want to know if my 8 months' gap(Oct-May) will be a problem or not..
should I need to show any experience.... everybody's saying there's no serious risk...
any help shall be appreciated.....

No need to show any experience. One year gap is accepted even I m applying without any experience I gave also completed my btech in July from lively university in 2013. So don't worry about the gap

I got visa although i was having gap of 1 year.

i have another query... financial details:-
1. GIC worth $10000
2. 1st year fees paid in full, $14400 (it's a two year program)
3. parents' ITRs showing an income of around 9 lakhs per year

does all this plus my edu. background make a good case? m also worried about my gpa..
