5406 signitures

Hi all, form 5406 requires applicant's parents and siblings' information. My question is do they need to sign this form as well because the checklist is stating "all other family members of the principal applicant need to sign it" ?

IMM5406 form must be filled out and signed by:

• The principal applicant,
• All dependent children aged 18 or over (whether coming with you to Canada or not).

Family members
An applicant’s closest relatives, in the context of an application to IRCC. It is defined as a spouse or common-law partner, dependent children, and their dependent children.
Parents and siblings should not fill or sign the form.
