I have few questions regarding the 3 month health insurance that I need to take till the OHIP kicks in.
1. What is the best way to do this? Should I get it from India or should I do it from a health insurer in CA?
2. Can you suggest a good health insurer?
3. What would be the cost for this insurance for a family of 3 (myself, wife and 4.5 year old).
I think it's better for you to get travel/emergency insurance in India where you know the insurance companies. I can not suggest any health insurer in Ontario but you can look for insurance brokers here: http://www.google.ca/search?q=insurance+broker+ontario It doesn't cost anything to do a little research and ask around. If a broker suggests a certain insurance company to you, then you can google that insurance company to find out if they are good.
