This test is rigged rigged rigged and even more rigged and my score doesn't make sense L-8.5 R-7.0 W-6.5 S-9.0 Overall - 8.0, I've been following this topic for awhile and I came to realize one thing these bureaucrats love to break dreams bones and hearts. If I can speak at a band 9.0 there is nothing more frustrating than getting a 6.5 in Writing. Probably these bureaucrats never gave anyone a band 9 in speaking.

Go for enquiry...EOR... chances are good that they would give u half mark or more.

Dear don't apply for EOR, in most of the cases it's a waste of time and money. I know you had great scores.
Just work on writing part. Speaking and writing are two different things.
Work on the requirements of IELTS for writing. Speaking is highly informal while writing is completely academic. I got 7.5 twice in writing, but my speaking is 6.5. Nevertheless, these unusual things are common, in case of IELTS.

Just got my result.
L: 7.5, R: 8.0, W: 6.0, S: 6.0 Overall: 7.0
I guess I did alright. As I needed 6 in each section anyways.

I guess my IELTS journey ends here, this was my sixth attempt. For all those people who are struggling remember "You only fail when you stop trying".
