Then why is the furore all over the youtube...which is easier IDP or BC ... seeing that i thought the exam is different. But now i understand that the Internet is divided because of the way marks are awarded for writing and speaking maybe.
Also am quite surprised to know the price difference between the two.
For my centre it shows both idp and british is 13250 as the exam fee. Am unsure about the EOR for both
Noooo. The marking criteria for Writing and Speaking for both is also same, which is prepared by cambridge university. U can have a look at Band descriptors for writing and speaking by cambridge university.
*Examiners are also trained by Cambridge University. They evaluate students acc to band descriptors only.
*So many people are unaware about these things.
*BC and IDP have just responsibity of conducting exam.

My doubt was ....why then is an never ending debate that one is better thab the other.
My understanding was that ..in L and R there is nothing much anyone can do...but people have a divided opinion because of writing and speaking evaluation thinking one particular organisation is a little considerate and not that strict etc.

That depends on examiners from both organisations. I’ve seen many people score 8.5 in speaking from IDP and BC. And 7.5 in writing from both.
Examiner’s assessment can be a factor.

This time I struggle with MCQ. When I got 9.0 in listening, at that time there were also MCQ’s. but this I’d say it was super tough mMCQ’s like Academic Reading
