I called this morning they said they are working on the background check, the rest is past

My application status never changed since submission on IRCC account . Is it going to get updated when they start working on final decision?

Am a June 2023 applicant

based on GMCS:

Medical (expired), biometric, Eligibility, and info sharing are passed.

criminality is in progress .

security check and final decision not yet started.

I think You check in the portal For submit the application. Try in IRCC Secure Account and Link your file.

No I linked my application in IRCC account. I have nothing changed since I submitted the application in 2023

They just started working on Jan 2023, we will get some updates closer to the end of the year I guess
