Exactly also my dependent file transferred the application on March 2024 to the Ankara VO and there is no action from them.

Hi guys
I went to an MP office in Ontario to ask about my pr application status and how long it's going to take.
This is what they replied to me with after several days.
………

I just heard back on your file. Here is what the IRCC agent confirmed:

• Protected Person to PR file
• Received April 4, 2023
• Open and in progress at the Mississauga office.
• Average processing time for such files is 29 months.
  • Brings us to an expected due date of September 4, 2025.
• Assessments:
  • Medicals passed.
  • Criminality in progress.
  • Eligibility not started.
  • Security not started.
• No outstanding documents (means the client has provided everything on the file.
• File is within processing times so there is no action we can request right now.

It seems that we are still quite early in the process.
……..
29 months is the new average time now that is so fucked upppppp.

I think , this period time is because they finished some application that they still in progress for more than 3 years, i kown someone who get his pr after 4 years of apply as a protected person and it effect to process time

I have the same time line as you , I applied 21 April 2023

most of applicant in Dec 2022 received Eligibility after 11 months , Jan 2023 after 12 months . Feb 2023 after 12months , March after 12 months , April , May , June 2023 no news up to now and for July to Dec 2023 have very fast processing .
So the only thing to do patient and no stress

I'm from August 2023 But I don't think mine have been faster than others of 2023. I'm in info sharing (crim and bio passed). But how long (?) and as far as I know, security screening is the longest stage and it is not started yet.

you applied Aug 2023 and received AOR Oct 2023 .
but for other applicant from Jan 2023 to June 2023 received AOR after 5- 6 months
Applied in April 2023 received AOR Oct 2023 .
So your process is too fast than previous .

I hope so but I knew person that get the AOR maybe after 2 or 3 months and the slow. Let´s see what will happen . Im close to one year and I know seurity could take until 9 months!
