Any idea why your application is under pilot project? Did you apply to any specific thing to be in pilot ?

The pilot program is for selected visa offices, you can google, pilot project family reunion for protected person

My timeline for PR application as PROTECTED PERSON so far...

Applied through PR portal on DEC 13, 2023.
AOR -- MARCH 01, 2024
Biometric DONE -- March 15, 2024

Nothing after that

I think just have to wait till next year winter to get some good news.

And Gatineau office is not processing my RTD for no reason provided. It's been like more than 7 months I applied.
It is so frustrating.


Out of curiosity guys, does anybody have any idea that how these processing times works. Especially for refugees, like 2 years and more than 3 year in Quebec.
To me it seems like it is like a pool and 1st come 1st serve basis where the Government have some limits for each year say 50k a year for refugees PR program and they have backlog for couple of year back.

Today IRCC Mississauga office sent me a letter of $85 refund as I paid for biometrics and I think for protected person it is waived.

I believe they just started opening files from Dec 2023.

I am also a December 2023 applicant. Yesterday, I received the biometrics waiver letter. Today, I got the Pre-arrival services letter on Gckey.
