When should i contact them? If my processing is longer?

You can actually contact them anytime to update you on your file every two months or so, since they have an open channel with IRCC. If you are within the processing time, they will not do much for you unless you have emergency or smt.

This is the last update I got from my MP:
PR Refugee
- Received on Dec 18, 2023
- Criminality, Medicals passed
- Eligibility, Security not started
- No pending requests
- No new update
- Processing time is now 25 months which takes us to Jan 18, 2026 (still well within processing time)

So frustrating but nothing we can do ;(

I’m February 2023 applicant (Ontario), haven’t received Eligibility or pre arrival yet. My time finishes in March 2025. If you’ve applied in January 2023 then your time finishes in February 2025 according to the current processing time which is 25 months. I just called IRCC today and they said they dont need anything from my end and im still under processing time. I’ve checked the 2022 forum; October/November and December applicants are receiving the P1/P2. Just letting you know that there are so many waiting from 2022. Everyone’s processing time is different (depends on the officer). Stay Hopeful, thats the only option we have and pray that this processing time doesn’t increase. It was 22 months when i applied.

Btw those who asked about moving out of quebec - I moved to BC and sent IRCC webform to change my city of destination since it said montreal on the GCMS notes. Today i received new notes and the city has been updated and office changed to Calgary, and all webforms that i sent i can see there so even if they dont respond, they do update information as they receive it. Now my application has been fully moved out of quebec!
