Etobike is fast with p1 and p2 but slow with ecopr whiles Montreal is slow with p1 to p2 but fast with ecopr. These are my observations from the jUNE, JULY AND AUGUST GROUP

My P1 email came from Montreal VO; I responded last week but haven’t heard back.

Etobicoke was mine. It was the fastest. Only took 1 day after replying to P1 to give me P2.

I had to do medical when I came to Canada as a student and so I didn't have to do it again when I applied for PR

Medical requested Nov 23 - completed prior to application & submitted with it; marked complete May 2 in tracker & May 3 Gckey
Eligibility marked completed Dec 5 in tracker, marked complete May 9 in Gckey
Pre-Arrival Letter received Dec 6
AIP 1: Received Dec 18
AIP 2: Received Jan 2
Background check completed May 2 in tracker, May 3 in Gckey
Final decision May 2 in Gckey
P1: Received May 6
P2: Received May 9
e-COPR: (doc number can be seen in tracker since May 3; not received via email as of yet, maybe tomorrow)

VO was not listed on P1 anywhere that I could find- my guess is Etobicoke; was originally Mississauga when the process first started.

Question for the P2; they only asked for confirmation of being in Canada, mailing details & picture. They are not asking for the passport to be submitted, is this normal? (US citizenship)

From what I understand you only get a passport request if you’re applying Outland, you don’t submit it for inland applications

Yes, that is all you have to do for P2. No passport required because you are already in Canada.

Yay!!! Finally got P2!!!! I got P1 from Montreal, and 3 weeks to 2 months to get P2 isn’t uncommon, but I’m still glad to receive it in less than a month.

I’m from the US, which probably helps a lot. But I am out of status (I messed up, I know ) so I’m still a bit surprised my application wasn’t delayed for any reason.
