I think this is a new thing that happened in January. By any chance, do you know anyone with virtual ceremony on Feb or March or even April with Montreal office? because I heard from my friends that they all shifted to in-person ceremonies now.

If you are in NB you won’t be called to Montreal to in person ceremony.
Your ceremony will be online or in person in NB.

(Had to do another one as the first was rejected because of the photo)

Oath scheduled for April 2nd (online)

Quite a few Jan 2024 applicants got updates - LPP completed and (me) fingerprint request. I also got a few ghost updates on Friday.

Turns out the ghost updates were for language and physical presence, which got completed today. Just gave my fingerprints yesterday. Now waiting on background and prohibitions.
